"Víbora mujer" is a project in which I'm working on. It comes from a paper I wrote in college, which explores the symbol of the snake in the biblical tradition and the western culture, in contrast with its identification with the feminine and the sacred in different pre-indoeuropean traditions.
I would like to publish this study I made because I think it's really interesting to see how the figure of the snake (as the woman's) was devaluated, and how it started to be identified as the devil and related with the sin. In the fanzine I'm making, I also include a little comic in which I make my own interpretation of the relationship between snake and women and how they "fly away" from everything.

I am very interested in the ecofeminist literary criticism, which I studied in college. All my works relate to and defend the values of ecofeminism. In the fanzines “Nana para una mosca” and “Vívora mujer” the presence of animals as subjects is evident, and the exploration of the body and psyche of women, which gets rid of the boundaries imposed by society.
The union between feminism and ecology only highlights the obsolete imaginaries that we inhabit, and I consider it very necessary to create works (literary, cinematographic...) that subvert the current hegemonic and patriarchal vision, and that grant new voices and perspectives to the animals, nature and women.
